The Hayes Hotel

The MML and MEDC brought on Smith Group to do the heavy lifting for the Hayes Hotel project. They have switched up this team to apply their market analysis skills and unique historic property rehab more effectively – both much needed for this signature project. See the scope of work from the Smith Group.

The Smith Group members include Kathleen Duffy and Alex Huff. The MML has worked with these two on a few projects in the past year or so – including the recently completed Isabella Bank RFQ package in Mount Pleasant, which is currently out for bid by MEDC.

The MML, Smith Group, and the MEDC presented to the Anchor Initiative Board of Directors on Tuesday, November 10. They went over the work scope for the Hayes Hotel and talk about the timeline for the RFQ's that will be sent out to over 100 developers across the country.
